SB holds youth leadership forum

The annual review of the Security Bureau Youth Uniformed Group Leaders Forum was held today, with Acting Chief Executive Chan Kwok-ki giving a speech.   Mr Chan reported that the forum had organised nearly 20 activities over the past year, including courses and training camps run by the bureau’s disciplined services and auxiliary services, and seminars on the country’s Constitution, the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law. 791k vaccine doses administered

About 791,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 559,800 people receiving their first dose and about 231,500 people getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 346,100 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 213,700 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 137,800 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 93,700 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 3,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   Among them, about 2,200 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 1,100 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.   Around 10,000 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 7,500 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 2,500 people through private doctors and clinics.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 12,900 people received their first dose at 21 CVCs and about 20,100 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at eight CVCs is 97%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine at 21 CVCs is about 98%.   As of 8pm, about 2,000 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 7,700 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech one.   As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospital.
