SB holds youth leadership forum

The annual review of the Security Bureau Youth Uniformed Group Leaders Forum was held today, with Acting Chief Executive Chan Kwok-ki giving a speech.   Mr Chan reported that the forum had organised nearly 20 activities over the past year, including courses and training camps run by the bureau’s disciplined services and auxiliary services, and seminars on the country’s Constitution, the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law. 2.22m vaccine jabs administered

About 2,224,100 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,289,800 people receiving their first dose and about 934,300 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 553,800 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 736,000 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 409,300 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 525,000 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 5,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,000 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 5,300 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 8,800 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 95%, while it is about 96% for the BioNTech one.   As of 8pm, about 6,700 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 15,300 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, 14 people were sent to hospitals.
