Govt showcases tech solutions

At the second edition of the InnoEX which started today, over 100 technology solutions, including those developed by government departments, are being showcased at the Smart Hong Kong Pavilion set up by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO).   Through interactive experiences and live demonstrations, the pavilion displays the fruitful achievements in advancing the development of innovation and technology (I&T) and smart city in Hong Kong brought about by the concerted efforts of the Government and various sectors, the OGCIO said.   Financial Secretary Paul Chan and Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Professor Sun Dong visited the pavilion today. 18 testing centres extend operation

The Food & Health Bureau announced today that after reviewing the usage of the community testing centres and public demand for the testing service, the Government has decided to extend the operation period of 18 centres.   As 12 of these centres will switch service providers, they will suspend service temporarily as shown in the table. As at June 10, these centres had conducted tests for over 4.68 million service visits, of which about 1,130 samples tested preliminary positive and were referred to the Centre for Health Protection for confirmatory tests and follow-up.
