Recognised jab record list updated

The Government today announced that from October 27, it will accept COVID-19 jab records issued by Cambodia as recognised vaccination records for Hong Kong residents who have stayed in Group A specified places.   Hong Kong residents who hold vaccination records issued by the relevant authority of that country in the prescribed format can board a flight for Hong Kong from Group A specified places, it said.   The Government will also recognise the vaccination records issued by Kazakhstan and British Virgin Islands, which are non-Group A specified places, from October 27.   This will enable Hong Kong residents who have stayed in Group A specified places and hold jab records obtained from relevant authorities of these places in the prescribed format to board a flight for Hong Kong.   According to the Government's stringent inbound prevention and control measures for travellers from overseas places, those who have stayed in Group A specified places on the day of boarding or 21 days before that day can only board a flight for Hong Kong if they are Hong Kong residents who are fully vaccinated and holding recognised vaccination records.   In addition, the vaccines administered to the travellers must be those recognised by the Government.
