Kowloon Park arts fair to open

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will launch a new phase of its Arts Fun Fair at Kowloon Park this Sunday.   It will have 16 stalls displaying and selling craftworks that feature fabric crafts, floral artworks and ornaments. Park-goers can also participate in art services such as painting and portrait sketching.   The fair will be open from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays and public holidays at the park's loggia until May 26 next year.   Visitors can enjoy the park’s beautiful scenery while appreciating a wide range of handicrafts and artworks.   The Arts Corner at Hong Kong Park is being held from noon to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until December 31.   The Arts Corner at Victoria Park welcomes applications from today until June 23 for operating stalls in the coming round of the fair.   For enquiries about the fair in Kowloon Park, call 2724 3344. JoyYou Card service centres to open

Four temporary service centres will be set up on January 3, 2022, to assist eligible people aged 60 to 64 to apply for the JoyYou Card, the Government announced today.   The card is also open for application for people reaching the age of 60 within three months.   The JoyYou Card is a personalised Octopus card tailor-made for the Government Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly & Eligible Persons with Disabilities.   People aged 60 to 64 must use the card to enjoy the $2 concessionary fare from February 27, 2022. So far about 516,600 applications have been received, representing about 85% of the population born between 1957 and 1961.   Eligible people who have yet to apply should submit their applications via the Octopus App before January 31.   The four temporary JoyYou Card Application Service Centres, set up by Octopus Cards Ltd, will start service from January 3 to help eligible people to submit applications or supplementary information.   The centres are located at room 3030, 30/F of Revenue Tower in Wan Chai, unit 1917-1918, 19/F of Pioneer Centre in Mong Kok, conference room, 2/F of Hin Keng Neighbourhood Community Centre in Tai Wai and unit 401B, 4/F of Tin Ching Amenity & Community Building in Tin Shui Wai.   The centres will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.
