Art@Harbour 2024 opens Mar 25

Large-scale outdoor art project “Art@Harbour 2024” will be held on both sides of Victoria Harbour between March 25 and June 2, bringing the public and tourists a new inspirational and sensory experience.    Through outdoor art installations and digital art facades, the project will integrate art, science and technology, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department said.   Speaking at the project’s opening ceremony today, Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki noted that “Art@Harbour” was first launched in 2022 as an innovative integration of art, science and technology. 3 govt sites to be let

Three pieces of government land in the New Territories will be let by tender to eligible brownfield operators affected by the land resumption and clearance exercises before or within 2023 under relevant government development projects.   Announcing the tender today, the Lands Department said the three sites in Yuen Long and Tuen Mun will be let by way of short-term tenancy and the tender will close at noon on May 31.   Business operators affected by the government development projects will be offered statutory compensation or ex-gratia allowances as an alternative, subject to fulfilment of relevant eligibility criteria.   The three pieces of land to be let are suitable for storage and warehouse uses, while one of them is also suitable for use as a fee-paying public car park.   Click here for details.
