Govt showcases tech solutions

At the second edition of the InnoEX which started today, over 100 technology solutions, including those developed by government departments, are being showcased at the Smart Hong Kong Pavilion set up by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO).   Through interactive experiences and live demonstrations, the pavilion displays the fruitful achievements in advancing the development of innovation and technology (I&T) and smart city in Hong Kong brought about by the concerted efforts of the Government and various sectors, the OGCIO said.   Financial Secretary Paul Chan and Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Professor Sun Dong visited the pavilion today. Testing compliance check ends

The Government today completed a joint enforcement operation on a compulsory testing notice for Tower 5 of Laguna Verde in Hung Hom.   The enforcement action was carried out from 7.30am to 10am by the Kowloon City District Office together with Police and the Department of Health.   During the operation, about 120 people’s test records were checked and 11 were found to have violated the compulsory testing notice.   Noting that the enforcement process may cause inconvenience to residents the Government appealed for their understanding as the operation was conducted to stop the spread of COVID-19.
