Chan Kwok-ki, Algernon Yau in quarantine

​Director of Chief Executive’s Office Chan Kwok-ki and Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development (designate) Algernon Yau are undergoing quarantine in accordance with the Centre for Health Protection’s guidelines, the Government said today.   They were identified as close contacts after an assessment by the centre, as Mr Chan’s wife and a friend of Mr Yau had tested preliminary positive for COVID-19.    Both men have regularly conducted COVID-19 rapid antigen tests and the results have been negative. 1 virus case found in Kowloon Bay

The Government today announced that one positive COVID-19 case was found in the compulsory testing exercise for the restricted area at Block 6 of Richland Gardens in Kowloon Bay.   It made a restriction-testing declaration yesterday to cover the building where 565 people were tested.   Government staff also visited 272 households there and will follow up on those who did not answer the door.
