Govt showcases tech solutions

At the second edition of the InnoEX which started today, over 100 technology solutions, including those developed by government departments, are being showcased at the Smart Hong Kong Pavilion set up by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO).   Through interactive experiences and live demonstrations, the pavilion displays the fruitful achievements in advancing the development of innovation and technology (I&T) and smart city in Hong Kong brought about by the concerted efforts of the Government and various sectors, the OGCIO said.   Financial Secretary Paul Chan and Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Professor Sun Dong visited the pavilion today. 20 cases found in restricted areas

The Government today announced that 20 COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Tuen Mun and Aberdeen.   It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover Shun Hei House of Siu Hei Court in Tuen Mun and Hung Lai House of Hung Fuk Court in Aberdeen.   At Shun Hei House, 1,267 people underwent testing and no one tested positive for the virus.   Twenty positive COVID-19 cases were detected at Hung Lai House after 860 people were tested there.   The Centre for Health Protection will follow up on the cases.
