Govt rejects UK report on HK

17 virus cases in restricted area

The Government today announced that 17 positive COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercise for the restricted area in Tai Po.   It made a restriction-testing declaration yesterday covering Chung Chun House of Chung Nga Court in Tai Po.   Seventeen positive and five indeterminate cases were detected at the building where some 1,870 people were tested.   Government staff also visited about 800 households there and will follow up on those who did not answer the door.
