Govt showcases tech solutions

At the second edition of the InnoEX which started today, over 100 technology solutions, including those developed by government departments, are being showcased at the Smart Hong Kong Pavilion set up by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO).   Through interactive experiences and live demonstrations, the pavilion displays the fruitful achievements in advancing the development of innovation and technology (I&T) and smart city in Hong Kong brought about by the concerted efforts of the Government and various sectors, the OGCIO said.   Financial Secretary Paul Chan and Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Professor Sun Dong visited the pavilion today. Chris Sun to travel to Fujian

Secretary for Labour & Welfare Chris Sun will depart for Fujian on March 3 for a duty visit, the Government announced today.


While in Fuzhou, Mr Sun will meet senior Fujian Province officials and visit the Department of Human Resources & Social Security, the Department of Civil Affairs and the Department of Commerce.


The welfare chief will also call on enterprises operating labour service co-operation business with Hong Kong. He will also meet Hong Kong people doing business in Fujian and recipients of the Fujian Scheme under the Social Security Allowance Scheme.


Mr Sun will return to Hong Kong on March 5. During his absence, Under Secretary for Labour & Welfare Ho Kai-ming will be Acting Secretary.
